The Role:

As a Senior School Classroom Teacher (CRT), you will provide high-quality relief teaching across Years 7–12, delivering planned lessons, maintaining positive classroom environments, and supporting student learning and wellbeing in line with Carey’s values and expectations.
We are particularly interested in teachers with methods in Mathematics, Business, Science, Health and Physical Education.

The Average Day:
  • Deliver planned lessons across Years 7–12 classrooms
  • Create a safe, respectful and engaging learning environment
  • Maintain positive classroom management and routines
  • Support student wellbeing and positive learning behaviours
  • Liaise professionally with teaching and support staff
The Person:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Years 7–12 students
  • Strong classroom management and clear communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability in a casual teaching environment
  • A commitment to student wellbeing and positive relationships
  • The ability to confidently deliver planned lessons across subject areas
A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment in this position.
